Jet is formed through the decomposition and preservation of wood underwater over millions of years. This differentiates it from other fossilised wood by being replaced with a large proportion of carbon. In terms of weight, Jet is similar to Amber, and is very light!
Jet contains the energy of transformation, and melds the energies of Elemental Water and Wood. This combination promotes growth and natural healing, while also grounding any erratic energies within us. Work with this stone to enhance your personal vital energy. I personally find Jet to be quite protective as well, with the energies forming a flowy barrier around me. This is similar to Shungite, but where Shungite is buzzy and almost staticky, Jet is gentle and fluid.
