Herb Bundles
Burning various herbs for spiritual, healing and wellness can be found across the ancient world, and our ancestors have passed down their spiritual practices to us. While these bundles are commonly called 'smudge sticks', the world 'smudging' is reserved for a specific Native American practice that is sacred to certain tribes. In our effort to combat cultural appropriation, we are referring to these as herb or smoke bundles instead. The Sanctum has also taken measures to test the energy of each herb and consult with a practicing Native American medicine woman in order to combat certain misconceptions; for example, burning sage is not actually for cleansing! Each bundle comes with a brief description of its spiritual benefits.
